Benedicte Lux Supernaturae
Benedicte is the Founder and director of Supernaturae. A project working with artisans in India and Mexico, specialising in historical craftsmanship.
Receiving an art history degree from Central St Martins and a degree in Fashion Design from Parsons, Benedicte went on to participate in a wide variety of trades. From honing her skills as a seamstress in a factory, working with designers such as Ulla Johnson and Gary Graham, to designing entire projects for the United Nations.
Alongside her work, Benedicte sits on the board of Wilstar, a philanthropic organisation aimed at supporting entrepreneurs and acts as a consultant for designers and brands interested in artisanry. Passionate and decisive. Benedicte looks to bridge cultures and reinvigorate rural employment through the practice of art and design.
