Bappaditya Biswas
Bappaditya Biswas, as one of India's foremost textile experts, has, over the last decades, been producing several masterly weaves that have entirely redefined Bengal handloom imbuing the nation’s textiles with an entirely new character.
Having travelled the world in the study of dyeing and weavings traditions, Bappaditya created the Calcutta based Byloom store and bai lou brand. His works have gained such recognition as to have one piece be awarded the Unesco Seal of Excellence.
