Santi Mallorquí began his journey in the organic sector when he visited Biofach for the first time, a benchmark fair for organic products in 2005. Trained in the distribution sector, he was the director of a restaurant company with its own production center. In 2010, after several projects in the organic sector, he acquired the Organic Cotton Colors company with 25 years of presence in the organic textile sector.
Organic Cotton Colors is a company specialized in colored organic cotton fiber, without dyes, they only use natural colors that are born from the seed without genetic modification and it does so through its 150 family farmers in Brazil, owners of their land ( 1 hectare on average), they only accept biodynamic crops, that is to say that said activity does not represent a mere lucrative act but is part of their modus vivendi.
The company is committed to offering them the stability of knowing that everything they grow annually will be purchased at agreed prices. The cotton is spun in Catalonia and later woven and manufactured in Portugal. Their operation goes from seed to final product to offer pure products without wet treatments or dyes.
