Kezang Lhundrup
Kezang Lhundrup is one of the finest designers in Bhutan and a weaver to the Royal Family. Now 62, he has been weaving since he is 10 years old when he learned the craft from his grandmother weaving intricate traditional patters using silk on silk, silk on cotton and cotton fabrics. Twenty years ago, Kezang started The Gagyel Lhundrup Weaving Centre, one of the first in western Bhutan with eight in-house weavers and more that eighty working from their homes.
