“Jennifer Ipekel is a multidisciplinary artist trained in the Chelsea School of Art, London. Ipekel's artistic practice constructs individual mythologies by navigating the boundaries of contemporary narratives and ancient myths.

Through her art, she re-imagines dynamics of power, gender, and colour, crafting narratives that challenge traditional perceptions. Drawing inspiration from animism, folklore, and the natural world, her textiles and ceramics bridge the earthly and the divine inviting the viewers into a world filled with archaeological motifs and mythological excursions.

Ipekel constructs a mythical time where creation incantations from different cultures emphasise the bond between nature and mankind. Her art aims to unveil the hidden language of nature symbolising creativity as an act of shapeshifting.
