Daniel Christian Wahl - GERMANY
Dr. Daniel Christian Wahl is German consultant, educator and activist who has worked with various companies, NGOs and governments and has been based in Mallorca for the past 12 years.
Holding a degree in biology, a master's degree in complexity sciences and a doctorate in sustainable design, Daniel has been widely accomplished. Director of Findhorn College between 2007 and 2010, Permanent member of the international futures forum and advisory council member of the Overview institute of australia, the Systems change alliance and the Ojai foundation among many, many others.
In 2016, Daniel wrote "Designing Regenerative Cultures" a medium sized broad analytical work on various societal systems that has since been highly well received and translated into a total of 8 languages.
Finally, In 2021 he was awarded the Bicentenary Medal of the Royal Society of the Arts for "an outstanding and demonstrable contribution, through...design practice, towards an equitable and regenerative world". Daniel went on to receive the first Volans Scholarship (2022-23) awarded by John Elkington, inventor of the triple business bottom line.
