Sandra Rotondo
Neurobiologist by training, Sandra began her foray into the show business in 1978, as a production assistant, on “La Noche Roja” tour organized by Miguel Ríos. After spending three years in the Compañía Nacional de Teatro Clásico directed by Adolfo Marsillach, as head of Communication and Marketing, in 1988 she joined the record company BMG Spain as product manager of Island Records, where she held different positions, conducting campaigns with U2, Whitney Houston, Montserrat Caballé and Mecano, among others, ending her time in the recording industry as director of the RCA label. In 1999 she joined Prisa to create and direct Planet Events, currently a leading company in Spain in the promotion and production of tours for international Latin artists (Shakira, Maná, Caetano Veloso, Franco Battiato or Luis Miguel). In 2013 she was appointed general director of Prisa Música, taking charge of the international coordination of music stations and the events area in Spain and Latin America until February 2021. Sandra is one of the juries for the Princess of Asturias For the Arts and Ondas de la Música prestigious awards.
