 A heritage textile festival with guest master artisans exhibiting and selling.

 A series of talks and workshops where knowledge will be shared.

A heritage textile exhibition - THE ANCIENT TEXTS

Textiles are texts and sources of information; they contain codes and signs that speak of roots, continuity and strength.

Mallorca represents the distilled essence of the Mediterranean. Stretching over 3,626 km2 with over a million inhabitants, it is an oasis during the summer months for many. Its charms lie in the perfect balance it strikes between the rhythm of a traditional southern European city and the international ambiance of being a contemporary art and cultural hub. 

Heritage is the past made present. Heritage is anything valued by previous generations. Heritage is what we have accepted as gifts from those who came before us. Heritage is our inheritance of land, language, ecosystems, knowledge and culture. Heritage embraces who we are as humans.

We have taken this great pause since last March to clean up our altars and we propose for XTANT to be the platform where new altars can be built using the right words with their original meanings
