“Quarter is an India-based design and solutions studio that merges India’s time-honored handcraft traditions with a fresh, introspective approach to design. The name "Quarter" embodies our philosophy that creation is never solitary; it is a shared journey. Every piece we create is the sum of contributions from artisans, weavers, tailors, designers, and consumers—each one adding their quarter to the whole.

Working with artisans from Assam, Gujarat, Bengal, Maharashtra, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh,Jharkhand, and Orissa, we co-create designs that blend the deep-rooted skills of traditionalcrafts with a distinct, evolved aesthetic. Our designs are not mere products—they areexplorations of psychological and emotional states, captured through the art of handcrafts.Each piece tells a story, crafted with deliberate engineering of techniques that are asthoughtful as they are transformative.

Quarter's long-term vision is to establish localized, circular production systems within these artisan clusters, where each garment is crafted, finished, and delivered directly from its source, creating a self-sustaining, decentralized ecosystem. This model not only empowers artisans and communities but also reduces external dependencies, fostering a cycle of continuous, mindful production.
