“Laurine Malengreau creates textile paintings with handfuls of silk and wool. Laying these materials one on top of the other and giving them a particular strength brings her a primal joy. In turn, she is firmly convinced that the creation of art expands the good and goodness. From Belgium, Laurine Malengreau trained as an art historian and was introduced to Nuno Silk in Madrid fifteen years ago. Based in Aubusson, capital of tapestry, her artworks have travelled all over the world and received the Michelangelo Foundation Grant in 2024.”
