Giulia Ferraris - ITALY

Giulia Ferraris is an Italian multifaceted designer, initially trained in industrial design and later specializing in graphic design and art direction. Intertwining her fascination and curiosity for textiles, popular culture, and the territory, she established A. Vetra in 2019—a project dedicated to shaping textile objects with a powerful tactile identity and a human trace. 

Giulia strongly believes in preserving old traditions in daily life and promoting local resources, approaching a conscious and compassionate approach to creation. 

Collaborating closely with local textile manufacturers based in Northeast Italy, her project breathes new life into artisanal work and traditions, crafting small editions of home decor pieces and garments.

Eager to deepen her connection with nature and its resources, Giulia began curating a botanical dye archive in early 2023, leveraging regional natural resources. This archive serves as a versatile tool for ongoing and future exploration, all harmoniously aligned with the cycles of Mother Earth.


Following six years in Amsterdam, Giulia's journey into textiles unfolded as a personal calling to rediscover her roots, anchoring herself in a slower, more authentic reality.
