Textiles have always been woven into the realm of the sacred. From birth to death and through each rite inbetween, cloth has wrapped us in ritual, a thread binding the material and the immaterial, the content and the container, it still remains immersed in the ancient and the modern acting as a bridge between them.

In this gathering, we come together to reflect on what humanity has exalted as sacred, what has been lifted to a place of unquestioned reverence and whether it still speaks to our truths today.

This community celebration of the sacred- of HUACA- is an invitation to look deeper, to be inspired, to seek meaning and connection. May it incite, uplift and renew us with purpose and hope.
