This is one of those once in a lifetime experiences, an invitation to explore all the nuances of myrtle, a sacred Mediterranean plant of love and beauty.
Juan Canàves, master artisan herbalist and distiller, and Deborah Piña, cook and communicator, specialized in Mediterranean popular culture, invite you to a magical encounter with Mercedes López in her Moscari lair to honor the Myrtle, the sacred Mediterranean plant of love and beauty.
The distillation process is an opportunity to discover the paths of nature, feel its links and remember its mysterious language.
On this ceremonial journey, participants will walk the path of the alchemists to learn the steps of artisan distillation, experiencing together the path of the woman collector and the techniques of the ancient distillers. Next to the alembic, they will observe the miracle of transformation, accompanying our sisters, the plants, on the alchemical journey.
Throughout the day, they will take various plant-based preparations to enjoy and connect with the experience on different sensory levels. Different dynamics will also be carried out to direct the experience towards a real connection with nature.
Lunch will pay homage not only to Myrtle but to the essential herbs and sacred ingredients that make up the Mallorcan and Mediterranean food landscape.
This experience is an invitation to deepen our relationship with plants, understand them better, put ourselves at their service and accompany them in their transformation.
